Welcome to the blog site for the Missions Ministry of the First Baptist Church of Naples, Florida. I am David George and my family and I just completed our first missionary term with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention in Paraguay, South America.



What would possess someone to leave the good ole U.S. of A. and go somewhere where you don't speak the language and don't understand the culture? The answer: Obedience! Nothing more and nothing less. Simple, radical obedience!



What is God telling you to do right now? It might be pretty radical, but all He wants from you is the willingness to do it, whatever it is! If you just say "yes", He'll take care of the rest.
